Baby Photos

The happy little families are enjoying these precious first days. They spent some time together, catching up and getting to know each other's babies, as well as taking some beautiful photos of the parents and little ones.

Christmas in July

Those of you who have followed our blog for several years may remember that we usually do a post about our traditional Christmas Eve Dinner. This past Christmas, with John + Chelsy's wedding just a week after Christmas, (and all the surrounding festivities and preparations as we had the wedding and left on tour just two weeks later) we missed posting about our dinner.
Today, though it's July, I am taking a little journey back to the beautiful sub-zero evening of our special family Christmas Eve Dinner. Enjoy!
At the last minute, everyone joined in putting finishing touches on the table as we prepared to feast and celebrate! Candles were lit, sparkling juice poured, and lights dimmed.
Our tradition is for everyone to make gourmet appetizers. We love having the appetizers be the dinner......we feel like we enjoy them more fully this way, since we can truly fill up on all the deliciousness!
Antipasta Skewers (Allison and Rebecca)
Veggie Tray (Mother)
Fresh Mexican Dip (Taylor)
Sweet Potato Fries (Carolina)
Loaded Potato Skins (Denver + Hudson)
Mexican Skillet Dip (Josh + Cass)
Stuffed Mushrooms (John + Chelsy)
Chocolate Covered Things (Bryn + Mitchell + Elizabeth)

Summer Tour//Week 6

Summer Tour Week 6 we had the wonderful gift of spending several days with some of our dear Stoltzfus family, including Mother's parents, our Stoltzfus grandparents. Today's post will mostly be photos from that wonderful time!
We helped with work projects at the grandparents' place, which was so awesome!
There were cleaning projects, hedge trimming, blanket knotting, baking, and more.
We also had a grand time picking blueberries one day. The "kids" (that would be Allison, Denver, Joe, Taylor, Liz, Hudson, Rebecca) and a cousin loaded up for a grand blueberry picking party! We picked over 100 pounds (for Grandma, our Aunt, and our own family) in less than 2 hrs!
Game time!
There is NOTHING like gathering together outdoors over delicious food. We are all about feasting and celebrating!
Speaking of food........the Low Country Boil at our family reunion was INCREDIBLE! If you've never had it, let me tell you it is so so good!!!
Amidst eating and feasting.......baby holding! One of our sweet cousins has this new beautiful little boy that was passed around lots and loved on much during the reunion.
In addition to our wonderful family time, there was the normal office work to do (along with concerts, errands, schoolwork, and lots of music practice).
At one of our concerts, Denver and Joe gave these guys some instrumental inspiration.
This little sweetie graced us with her presence during sound check. Can you tell we love babies?
Speaking of babies.......we love the dozens of photos of dear little Jubilee and Wallace. Be watching for a new post filled with baby pictures coming soon!

Summer Tour 2018//Week 5

As usual, we spent a lot of our time singing. Also as usual, we didn't get many photos of that! What we did get some pictures of is those "in between" times when we were doing other things. I hope you enjoy a glimpse into our week.
Other than the concerts and ministry opportunities we had, our highlight was getting to visit the beautiful Letchworth Park in New York. We highly recommend it if you're in the area! We spent some short but sweet time hiking, enjoying the beauty, and just being together.
We enjoyed several meals outside, as well as time sitting around talking and playing games together. A dear friend drove from another part of the state to meet up with us and it we had a marvelous time with her!
The falls exceeded our expectations. We took several hours to enjoy the scenic hike winding past this and several other beautiful waterfalls.
Music practice!!! We have been doing ALOT of music practice these days. The younger ones are working on becoming more proficient on their instruments, as well as (several of them) learning new ones. In addition, we have enjoyed arranging some new music.

....and more music practice!
Feasting on abundant wild black raspberries was a delicious treat!

One day Dad found a Starbucks so this crew could have some much-needed wifi. We love our fun + productive coffee shop work sessions! It's actually a rare occasion when we do this, but much enjoyed.

Our dear parents celebrated their 29th anniversary July 8th. A dear friend got this beautiful cake made for them!
A random jamming session post-concert.
What we do for fun! This was an animated game in which a certain young man thoroughly beat his TWO sisters! Oh dear.....we may need some more practice!
Thanks to all our dear friends who have hosted, encouraged, and prayed for us! We are so grateful for you.
If you're in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, or Virginia, check our schedule to see if we might be near you! We have three weeks left and will be touring in those states.
