Mitchell + Bryn || 9.2.2017

Today we are thrilled to share with y'all a few of the professional pictures from Mitchell + Bryn's wedding! Their photographer (SarahSmithStudio) did an incredible job capturing their day with such amazing portraits.

It was a beautiful, beautiful day. God brought Mitchell + Bryn together in such an amazing way, and they are truly a match made in heaven. Their day was so centered on Jesus and what He had done in their lives. We hope you enjoy sharing in the day, in this little way, through these pictures.

They decided not to see each other until the ceremony, so the very first look they had was when Bryn walked down the aisle.

This little miniature groomsman was a trooper literally ALL DAY except for this moment in which he had apparently just had enough of everything. =)
Mitchell + Bryn had a very delicious taco bar for their reception meal.
Cutting the cake time!
Their reception was held in the town square, which is just a block down from the church. The weather was perfect and it was a beautiful celebration!
Nine of mom's siblings and/or siblings' spouses came from Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana, + Florida, to attend the weddings. We were so blessed to have them + a whole host of cousins as well!
This is so them. =) Joking about something, apparently, right before the bouquet toss.

And then off they drove...!
We hope you enjoyed these pictures from Mitchell + Bryn's special day! If you missed the livestream, you can watch the wedding video here. Stay tuned for Mitchell + Bryn's love story, coming sometime next month!

Meet Rebecca!

Meet Rebecca Shania, the baby of the family! Rebecca recently turned ten years old and she reminded us that we now have "no one left in single digits age!" As the caboose, she has a very important place in our family, and she loves her position.

Rebecca is the "little sunshine" of our family. She is probably the most laid-back of our twelve family members, and she dearly loves routine, quiet time, and an organized life. Something most people may not know about Rebecca is that not only is she named after her mother, but also after her grandma Stoltzfus. One of Rebecca's favorite places to be is home, surrounded by her people. She misses the brothers lots since they got married, and loves any chance to see them. Her new sister-in-laws are some of her favorite people ever! Rebecca loves writing notes, whether it be thank you notes, encouragement notes, or "just cause" notes, and we regularly find them around on our pillows, desks, etc. Little people are favorites of hers and she holds babies whenever she has a chance! She also loves to be outdoors as much as possible, and loves picking produce in the gardens, feeding our calves, and riding her bike all over the farm.

Rebecca is a very diligent little scholar and says she enjoys school sometimes. =) She especially has a passion for science and was intrigued with the recent solar eclipse and the opportunity she had to go to Missouri to see it! Music is a very big part of her education as well, and she currently takes piano + violin lessons. She plays violin in our concerts and this year she started with her first piano piece in concerts, a duet with Liz. She qualified for the National Bible Bee again this summer and this fall finds her a busy little bee, as she spends several hours most days memorizing her hundreds of verses for the November competition.

We are so thankful that God gave us Rebecca as the youngest, and we sure love the sweetness she adds to our family!

11th Annual Family Camp Recap

Family Camp 2017 was once again an incredible event and one that we were so very blessed to enjoy! Each year, God gives us such a great group of families/singles/grandparents/young couples to attend, and each year we say it was better than ever. =)
This year, we had nearly 400 people in attendance for the week-parents, grandparents, children, singles, etc.
It is hard to properly recap the whole week. There are many special memories, sessions, moments, etc etc. To write about everything would take me hours! So instead, enjoy a few pictures!

There was all this and much more---family devotions, morning group worship, incredible meals + snacks, and so much "iron sharpening iron". Jesus truly met us there at the beautiful Village Creek Bible Camp in north east Iowa, and we are still rejoicing in His goodness + faithfulness during that week!

If you are interested in the possibility of attending a future camp, begin thinking + praying about that now. Due to increased interest and the maxing out of our current camp, we will be hosting two camps in 2018. More information on that to come later this fall! We would love to have more of y'all join us!
