A Godly Heritage

In June, my sisters & parents & I spent a week in NY.
We stayed at my grandparents and I treasured all the special memories we made there again.
One afternoon I came into the kitchen and saw my grandma sitting in her rocker in the living room, reading her Bible. This was not an uncommon sight to me. Both of my grandmothers are women who love the Word of God and spend much time in prayer for their children and grandchildren.
But this particular afternoon it just struck me as such an incredible testimony.
Such a gift. A blessing.
The rich and godly heritage that I have.
I will also treasure this photo, completely candid as my grandma had no idea anyone was watching her.
I am truly so blessed to have a Proverbs 31 woman in my grandma.
"Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies....favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised."
Proverbs 31:10 & 30
