  1. I enjoy reading your blogs so much! I just recently purchused a banjo which is a new experience for me. I also enjoy playing a bit of piano, guitar, Mandolin, and bass guitar, which is why I enjoy following you guys so much! Do you have any banjo resources that you would recommend?

    1. Melanie,

We're glad to you enjoy music as well! We've been greatly blessed by banjobenclark.com. Banjo Ben has hundreds of recorded lessons for mandolin, banjo, and guitar. It costs to access all of them, but there are quite a few videos you can see for free.

    1. Anonymous,

We don't have Southwest Kansas on the schedule for this year. Maybe 2019.

  3. I live only 2 hours away from McMinnville! I hope to be able to make it to your concert.
McMinnville is in an incredibly beautiful area, and I hope you get to see some of the sites while you’re there. It’s a long drive to Nampa, and some of it is truly lovely.
If you have some time, the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museums are just outside of McMinnville, and are really worth a visit. They are in separate buildings, one for the aviation museum, and one for the space museum, and the collections are surprisingly impressive, especially when you think about them being located in such an unlikely place. The spruce goose is there, there are a bunch of military aircraft, and there are all kinds of cool things in the space museum. It would be a wonderful opportunity for a group of homeschoolers, I would think.
I didn’t mean to go on for so long, I just got excited when I saw that you were coming to my area. I hope to get to see your performance and meet your family on Sunday. Safe travels to you all,
    Amanda
