Fall in Shipshewana

Our last tour of the year was a 5-day trip to Indiana & Michigan.
We spent Thursday-Saturday in Shipshewana at the Crafters Fair & Bluegate Theater. This was our 3rd year there and once again was a busy time of waking up, eating, setting up, singing, tearing down, eating, setting up, singing, tearing down (all that outdoors)....and then moving all the equipment & instruments inside to the theater and doing the whole process over again. It was a crazy three days but a great time, as always.
Following that we drove to Michigan on Sunday for our last concert of the year, hosted by dear friends.
We drove home after the concert last night and arrived safe & sound this morning.
Everyone is excited about being home for the fall, harvest, holidays, & lots of company!
The boys hit the fields today and we are back in the full swing of early mornings, packing lunches, & the sound of the combine & tractors as they bring in the harvest!
It is a great time of year!

  1. Do your kids read what comes to them in the US Mail? Thanks!

  2. Love that town!! :)
We went up there to buy two labs from a man that my dad had met at the Father Conference in 06. :) Cute town. Did y'all go to the Family Style Diner? When we went I was only... 9? And we had three littler ones under 5... needless to say we had a lot of food left. :)
    God Bless! :)

  3. This looks awesome! Hope you guys had fun!
