New Cd Arrival/Drawing

Now that our new cd is finally here, we are giving you a peek into the studio where we recorded "In God We Still Trust" in October.   First of all, meet Mr. Tom Ware, who has blessed us so much with his incredible technical skills and his amazing patience.   We are so grateful to have this talented producer help us with our project.

There were many hours of waiting while others were laying down the tracks or doing vocals.  Our little ones spent that time listening to books, playing games, & watching videos.

Elizabeth learned a few more lessons in patience while redoing vocals.
Although I can't tell you why Hudson has his hands in the air, I do know that he was very weary of singing "When I Am Afraid".  :)
And to celebrate our new cd we are going to do a drawing.  To enter you only need to......................comment!  We want to hear from all of our family, friends, fans, foes, etc. etc.  :)  This is your chance to let us know that you visit our blog now and then.  (My niece said this will bring out all of the lurkers!)  To add interest, tell us what state you are from.  (And we are hoping to hear from all  50 states!!)  We will put all of your names in a drawing which will be held on February 1.  The winner will be announced in a post by February 8 so be sure to check back.
Although our new cd isn't on our webpage yet, you can still order by sending using the order form on our webpage.  Just be sure to let us know that you want the new cd.

"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you."  I Thess. 5:28a

  1. Hi Bontragers ~ I'm still following! I've been thinkin' of you lately. We were talking about our plans for the year and what camping we plan to do. I am hoping you will be at the Farm Progress Show again and the Lord allows us to be there so we can spend some time together! We really enjoy the CD's Chad brought me after the Show last year, it was so sweet of him to think of me like that. So ~ I'm writing a book here, Johanna has been wide awake for 1 1/2 hours, so I have plenty of time!
    God Bless ~ LauraLee

  37. Hey, I had a blast hanging out with y'all down in Alabama! God has given you all a gift to be able to minister to those who come from dysfunctional families as a result of your ministry to each other as a family. Your availability to allow God to use you by ministering in song to those in prison has been an asset to furthering God's kingdom. I enjoy reading your blog and am looking forward to hearing your new CD. I love y'all!

My name is Dina, I live in a tiny european country- Croatia...I have 2 brothers and 6 sisters.I am 19.
I am so blessed with your blog, and amazed with the lifestyle of so many godly american families... I am a Christian, too, but I never thought life can be so full of faith, which is the case in many homeschooling families I read about on the Internet.
I pray that our country legalise homeschooling, which would bring a huge blessing for many families here...
    Congradulations on your cd!!!!
